Visitors from Chicago

We just love it when out-of-towners come and visit. This time we were graced by the presence of Brady's cousin's cute little family. They are Jenny, Dan and adorable little Addison.
Madi was especially excited because she just loves babies and even more so loves to be a teacher to any baby. And she's good and patient too. Before Addie was here she made a little list of things she wanted to teach Addie to do while she was here visiting. Madi wanted to help her learn how to drink from a sippy cup, use a spoon, read to her, teach her some songs and help her play with the toys at Nana's house. They had a great time together. Jenny and Dan spent most of their time outside and in the pool-it was a fabulous weather change for them coming from Chicago. It was so fun to see them and meet their little princess Addie for the first time!! Thanks for visiting guys and we can't wait to see you again, hopefully soon.

Celebrations Dinner

Since Madi and I didn't get to go to Canada to see Brady get his Eagle award we decided to take him out to dinner and what a better place than his favorite-Famous Dave's!! We invited both our families and thought it would be fun to celebrate Darrin's birthday at the same time!
the two honorees

For Darrin's birthday our waitress brought out this big ice cream, chocolate and whip cream concoction-we all sang and Madi and Darrin dug in....now that I think about it Madi did place herself right next to this yummy desert, I noticed that Darrin had a few bites and then Madi just took it over. What a stinker....but the girl loves whip cream and ice cream.

Congrats to my Hubby

Brady was nominated to recieve an Eagle award from GE. They flew him to Canada along with some of the other nominees to recieve his award. I was super bummed that I wasn't invited to go along but that's business I guess??!! But none the less we are very excited and proud of him for working so hard. He is an excellent businessman and excels in his career. I was so happy to hear that he won this award and GE is really taking notice of his leadership abilities!! He is fantastic at what he does and works so hard to provide for his girls.
We love you bunches babe and congrats on a job well done!! Keep it up :)
